Skinny Puppy's Greater Wrong of the Right tour. Last night. State Theater, downtown Detroit.
And the timing was such that we all just missed the opening act, who was apparently so bad that he got booed off stage (and the boos were about all we caught). Best guess? The opener had been hand-picked by ohGr for recogntion, the choice likely having been made while ohGr was blitzed, or something.
But the acoustics at the State were great, I could actually hear everything without needing earplugs (and for an industrial concert... that's saying a lot). There was a minor pit, but the stage press was still dense enough that I didn't travel forward just to get splashed with some of ohGr's fake blood (not everyone can be as cool as![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
trixiegnosis). And very, very anti-Bush (the video montage during "VX Gas Attack" was... intense).
Damn good concert. I'll happily catch them again. Hell, I'd catch something at the State again.
