Yipe!
I found out this morning just how much longer I'll be teaching at Community (Commie) High, here in A2. 5 weeks in, 13 to go until the end of the semester. Oy... I guess I shall be expanding my intended curriculum, and spreading things out some.
Most of the shock comes from the fact that, well, I've never actually experienced a high-school semester, and I'm used to university terms (fall term ends before Christmas...).
That and I was a nincompoop and forgot to ask how long a term was before I jumped in with both feet.
So, on one hand, I'm suddenly slightly freaked out (an 18-week term!?!?!), and on the other hand, I'm starting to keep a list in the back of my head... about all the things that I'd change if I do this again next year.
