D, the new tech in the lab, is something of a bike nut (far more than I have ever been), and he's in great shape for it all. But now that we've received several inches of snow on the ground, he is refusing to stop biking to work. Good for him, I say, but then I notice:

He's put studded snow-tires for his mountain bike.

I covet those tires. They are spiffy.
