How often does a trip to another country get tossed into your lap?

My brother just called me from work to ask if I'd be interested in joining him for a trip to Hong Kong, mid-February, and he'd cover my airfare?

Uhhhh?

My immediate, visceral responses:

1) Hell yes!
2) I've already got something scheduled in February, lemme get back on that.
3) My brother? For a week? The last time he and I spent time alone we stopped talking after about 18 hours.

for those of you who are also going, I'm going to be at Lilith's wedding this Saturday. Wearing a black-and-burgundy doublet and black pantaloons and boots. I'll be staying in the Portland/Vancouver area, however.

In light of all that, I've never been to Powell's... hell, I don't even know where it is.
