... but very often (almost always, actually) I find that it takes me an hour or more to recover my job momentum after attending a work meeting. It's usually far worse when I wind up involved in the meeting, whether offering supporting commentary, or if I'm the one giving the presentation.
In the past four days, I've had meetings at 9a, 3p, 9a, and 10a. I presented at two, provided significant commentary at a third.
The rest of my work productivity? Save for crunching numbers... not so much. The actual, hands-on performance of science has Not Been Happening.
