I know I've mentioned to some of you before about just how my name is very, very common. That I've met, in my life, three other versions of myself (although we are within a +/- 5 year age range). In fact, I'd just noticed a week or so ago that I've gained a name-doppelganger on campus.
Well, I just started getting e-mail for him, as he's apparently on the same mail-server as I am, and whoever sent the mail didn't check the auto-fill on the entry line.
Though I'll have to admit, as the e-mail was offering free beers to all of the new interns, I'm tempted to show up and go "Yeah, that's me! Oh, wait, you wanted the intern version! Nope, I'm the grad-student version. Thanks for the beer, though!"
