I've come to the department secretary's office to pick up a long-sleeve T and a hooded sweatshirt, both with departmental logos, as christmas gifts for my folks, and I marvel at the low price. I ask where the department went and mention that I'm interested as I'm involved in the group that runs the campus gaming con and we'd like to get a good price on the con shirts.
She perks right up and goes "U-Con? Really?"
"Yeah, and I might be running it next year."
"Awesome! If you need a volunteer, let me know!"
*blink blink* "I'll keep you in mind. What do you play?" and off goes the conversation. We swap game recommendations (there's now a Munchkin Impossible?!?) and I take off after a few minutes more.
We ARE everywhere. *snicker* And we SHALL conquer the world... if we can break away from beating that one guy across the table who always wins.
