Or something to that effect.

As if this weekend's adventures weren't bad enough (coming soon to an LJ near you, such as borghalrantipol's, rjlona's, weisbrow's or mine), I hop in Vlad this morning to get to work and suffer a crushing blow.

Yes, the car I just dropped $1500 on has something else terribly wrong. It sounds like it might be a brake problem. Which, if it is, will be less traumatic, because the shop just did a brake inspection, and if they missed something, I shall exact my pound of flesh from them. But it would also be unusual, because this particular shop does really, really good work.

Of course, if it's a major problem, then the shop is already on notice that I'm not paying for another major repair, and we have already talked about their taking Vlad off my hands to serve as a loaner for their own needs.

I'd only been hoping that it wouldn't happen for another month or three, though.

First to my niece Bryn, who is a whopping 1 year-old today! Congratulations again to her mommas atothek andrenatitanon!

Then to griffinick, who is some age older than 1! Although I imagine you have better ways to celebrate your birthday than by catching a nap... but boy does that sound good. ;-)
