That was the future-echo of my head exploding. I made a big, big mistake.
I agreed to help coordinate certain aspects of the UM gaming club's fall convention.
Officially, I'm already in charge of overseeing the Blackmoor-setting D&D track, and I'm possibly going to be taking over the whole RPGA D&D shebang if the main coordinator leaves grad school by then.
I'm also going to be Assistant Volunteer Coordinator.
What this all means, come that weekend (November 17-19!), is that I ain't going to be playing much at all.
In that vein, however... any of my fellow local gamer geeks (you know who you are) know anybody who might be interested in helping coordinate stuff for board-gamers and miniatures-gamers? And SCAdians--you wanna run a demo at the con that weekend? Especially anyone who has/plays/is willing to organize period games?

In a somewhat related note, it takes me about 50 minutes to walk home from the Union. Useful info to know, for the next time I miss the bus by five minutes, right as it switches to the once-an-hour schedule.
