This is an elegantly simple, thought-provoking, and highly-addictive little Flash app. The point is to induce cascading chain reactions, and to produce a reaction as large as possible.
My current record is 1124. What are yours?
Edit: I'm up to 2296, which was mostly luck. Worst part was that I picked a tile, got up to do something, and came back a few minutes later. Missed the whole thing.
There's something very... meditative, I suppose, in watching a highly ordered field emerge from an otherwise a pleasant set of random squiggles. And does it make me too much of a geek to say that the end result of a big cascade makes me think of magnetic field diagrams?
