First, Le Suck:
First time I learned about last night's freezing rain was right after I went flat on my back on the front stoop of my building. I got up and felt alright at the time (thankfully, I didn't bonk my head on the upper step), but about an hour ago, the muscles in my neck and in my right shoulder started going "Ow. We cushioned that damn brain of yours from something hard, and you need to know this. Ow."
Then, Le Whee:
Inspired by a conversation with a new friend, I decided to google my old 4th-5th grade teacher. I found her, and dropped her a quick note, telling her how much I'd come to appreciate her. She wrote me back! She even remembered some details that I'd otherwise forgotten (*koff koff* final report card *koff*) and said she was happy to hear from me. I'm the first student of hers to have looked her up in years, sounds like.
