This is the coolest, driest August I have ever experienced, east of the Rocky Mountains. It's really rather pleasant.
Further randomness: there's a canadian web-shop (Futureshop) that's selling the whole Firefly DVD package for $26 Canadian, but they can't take US orders. *sigh* That there's dirt cheap, high quality TV, yes it is.
