Amusements...

in no particular order or significance...

1) The UM campus has a kosher hot dog cart. Okay, it's officially run by Hillel, but still, who knew?

2) The U-Con committee is getting punchy in today's lead up to setting up Ops. The list is discussing the merits of delivering supplies to the Union via trebuchet-launched plague-ridden cow carcasses.

3) Made two folks' night when I led them to the holy land of a restaurant that makes gluten-free pizzas (that actually taste good).

Silvio's Organic Pizza, on North U. It's in the micro-mall where Sushi.Com can be found.

The GF pizzas are only 6", so for some they count as a nice snack, rather than a full meal, but the staff is meticulous in prepping them to avoid gluten contamination. Interesting to watch.

Ooohh, I love Silvio's! :) They're good folks, too, which makes it all the better.

Good regular size GF pizzas and deli sandwiches at Stadium Market. Awesome flavor, caring staff, they have a great selection of GF stuff, too!

FYI:

Both Chilli's and Outback Steakhouse have gluten-free menus.

So does PF Changs, and an Italian Restaurant in Livonia named Guilio's.

Silvio's is actually the most delicious pizza in Ann Arbor as far as i am concerned. I adore Silvio's crust, and his sauce is divine! The fresh basil on his Margherita is fresh and tasty.

Plague Cow is a perfectly valid method of material delivery. I think it'll really catch on in the coming years.
