So, I've hopefully given you a basic idea of the biology of H. pylori, and an idea about how well this particular Helicobacter species has evolved for its particular environment.

( Now I'd like to walk through the pathology and clinical importance surrounding Hpy and ulcers. )

And this is getting long enough, so I'll stop this here, and get to the actual disease in the next post.
